Chanco on the James is a retreat center for youth and adults as well as one the longest summer camp programs in Virginia. It is located in Surry County, Virginia surrounded by natural wildlife along the James River. Chanco is an outdoor ministry supported by the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. All groups, denominations and organizations are welcome to enjoy this spiritual place that provides rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.
