Session 3 Big Day theme is “IN SPACE” from Star Wars to Star Trek and everything in between. We have over 400 photos for you to check out in the link below!
With big day just around the corner campers enjoy a final day of classes. Can you guess the big day theme? Star Wars, Star Trek, NASA, Avatar……All these things have something in common. Big day pictures will be posted Saturday night. The Album below now has 221 photos.
It has been warm here at camp chanco. It’s been hot, and what could possibly help with the heat? Night swimming and a belly flop compitition. Session three has decided to have all programs relocated to the pool. So far arts and crafts have had a tuff time getting the glue to set for crafts when they are underwater but it’s a small price to pay to keep things cool. See more of our night swim and the best of the worst belly flops at the link below.
Third session has begun and the staff here at Chanco are “struck” with enthusiasm. Chanco’s staff and campers are all “charged” up for the session. The atmosphere is “electric” here at third session. Campers and staff are “shocked” to see how much fun camp can be. Let’s hope the staff don’t go on “strike” and “bolt” out of camp. OK OK OK I will stop. No more puns for the rest of the session. I am sorry and I realize that they are really not punny. Third session is going at full tilt and though the photo is of lightning (as I was hinting at before) camp has seen less than a 10 min shower during the day. To see more pictures follow the link below.
Battle of the Bands was an epic trip of sight and sound last night. A quick Gallop poll of counselors shows that 72% believe that this one night will go down in the Chanco Rock-N-Roll Hall of fame. Program Director Paul Gibson-Barton had this to say, “I am amazed at the talent in this session” he later said ” Matt Auer’s performance of Total Eclipse of the Heart was the most moving moment of my life” . More pictures of this event are at the link below.
