Incentives – reducing the cost of Camp Chanco
Do you want to donate your time to Chanco? Are you interested in reducing the cost of camp so your camper or someone you know will have an opportunity to experience Camp Chanco. Here’s how:
The Family Encouragement Program:
- Families will receive $50 off for hosting a Chanco Open House with a minimum of 10 families and/or potential campers. (Contact Talley Banazek at talley@banazek.com for more information on hosting an Open House.)
- Families will receive $50 off for each new camper referred and registered. (no maximum)
- Families will receive $100 off tuition for the second sibling enrolled and $150 off for the third.
- Advanced payment for future years will freeze the price of tuition based on the year of payment. Any increase in tuition year to year will be deferred.
- Families will receive $25 off for completing the camp survey by September 1.
- Families will receive a $200 discount for Chanco Parish Representatives who hold a camp Open House at their parish and serve as the Chanco liaison in their congregation. (Contact Talley Banazek at talley@banazek.com for more information on becoming a Chanco Parish Representative).
Financial Assistance:
Camp Chanco has financial assistance available to encourage campers to attend our program. Chanco gave over $15,000 in financial assistance to campers in the summer of 2008. Simply fill out a request form (pdf link) and send it to the attention of the director, Jim Sitzler. Also families can seek out scholarships from other sources to bring the camp fees down. All churches, parishes, businesses, and corporations can also be very generous sponsors of campers. It only takes a phone call to provide your child with the best experience of the summer
